Baby #3: 25 Weeks

25 Weeks

Baby is the size of a rutabaga
(about 9 inches long)

Weighs about 2 pounds

How far along? 25 Weeks
Maternity clothes? As often as possible. I feel like I am way bigger at this point than I was with my other pregnancies and the regular clothes that worked for them are not working as well this time around.
Stretch marks? No
Sleep: Still sleeping pretty well. My sides get really sore and I have to flip over every few hours though.
Have you told family and friends: Yes.
Miss Anything? Not yet
Movement: Lots of kicking by my bellybutton. Baby is very active when I go to bed and soon after I eat.
Food cravings: Things that are already prepared.
Anything making you queasy or sick: I've been pretty good so far this pregnancy.
Have you started to show yet: Yep. I feel like I'm huge right now.
Gender prediction: We're having a boy.
Labor Signs: No
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy
Other symptoms: Headaches, really sore knee for about a week...pretty sure it's an old injury that aches sometimes and the extra weight I'm carrying just made it a lot worse.
Do you have a name picked out: Nope. Picking names is the hardest. Tate is insistent that we name the baby "Tate Again."
Looking forward to: Meeting the baby.
Things I'm worried about: The glucose test. Not that I'm really worried, it's just something I really don't enjoy.
Things I'm loving: Feeling the baby move.

Baby #3: 20 Weeks

20 Weeks

Baby is the size of a banana (about 7 inches long)

Weighs about 11 ounces

How far along? 20 Weeks, I'm due April 29, 2016
Maternity clothes? Some, I love wearing them because they're obviously more comfortable than regular clothing but the pants don't fit yet. 
Stretch marks? No
Sleep: I generally have been sleeping pretty well with this pregnancy. I wake up to roll over and my arm/shoulder is really sore because I haven't moved at all.
Have you told family and friends: Yes, I told the world (Facebook & Instagram) when I was 10 weeks.
Miss Anything? Not yet
Movement: I've felt a few bumps here and there but nothing consistent and nothing that I'm positive is the baby.  At the anatomy ultrasound, the baby was very docile. I hope that means he's just a chill baby and not that anything is wrong.
Food cravings: Things I don't have to cook myself
Anything making you queasy or sick: I've been pretty good so far this pregnancy.
Have you started to show yet: Yep. I always show but I look a lot bigger at night than I do when I wake up in the morning.
Gender prediction: I've thought it was a boy the entire pregnancy (mostly because this pregnancy is much more like Tate's than Brynn's) and we found out on Dec. 7 that I was right (if you're keeping track, I'm 3 for 3 on guessing my children's genders).
Labor Signs: No

Happy or Moody most of the time: Generally still feeling pretty good.  Tired but happy.
Looking forward to: Feeling the baby move.
Other symptoms: Dry skin, dizzy/lightheaded
Do you have a name picked out: Now that we know the baby is a boy we will start trying to figure something out. I hope it's not as difficult as it was to pick out Brynn's name.
Looking forward to: Feeling the baby move more often.
Things I'm worried about: Going into labor unexpectedly and not being able to get the kids somewhere before I have the baby.
Things I'm loving: Not being pregnant during the summer. I'm hoping this means then end of the pregnancy won't be quite as miserable as Tate and Brynn's were.

Baby is a...

BOY!!

So this is happening...

Yep, baby number 3 is on his/her way in late April. We're pretty stoked about it.

Baby Girl: 12 Months

One year! It goes by so fast! Brynn still continues to be so happy but has decided that she has opinions and lets us know when she's not happy. She also is starting to give a "but Moooooom!"type pouty face. It's equal parts adorable and a glimpse into my not so distant future. She is a screamer but at least it's a happy scream. She is very talkative but doesn't have any real words yet. She loves her brother and likes to comfort him by patting his back when he's upset. She refuses to sleep anywhere that is not her crib. She also started to not nap as well/as often. She eats anything and everything and often out eats Tate...and sometimes me.

Brynn loves watermelon and can't get it into her mouth fast enough when I give it to her.

This is the day Brynn refused to nap. Luckily it was only one day but it was still a rough one.

Brynn stands really well but she refuses to walk on her own. She loves walking while holding someone's hands or following along a wall but unassisted steps are something she doesn't do...yet.

While at Leatherby's, Brynn was so grumpy but once I gave her a cup with some water in it she was all smiles...and super wet.

Brynn was very grumpy on the way home from the grocery store but then she found the bag of grapes and helped herself. She was a happy camper after that.

Happy 12 Months, Baby Girl!

Clothing Size: Mostly 12 months but still in some 9 months

Diaper Size: Still in cloth diapers but would be a size 3

Milestones: Taken a few unassisted (but very coaxed) steps, able to balance for a long time

Eating:Eats anything and everything. Really loves bagels with cream cheese, always eats broccoli well and takes more from my plate.

Sleeping: Sleeps a pretty constant 12 hours, usually about 7:30-7:30. She is a wonderful sleeper and I hope all future kids are just like her! Naps are hit and miss. I think she needs to transition to one nape but she doesn't sleep long enough for that to work. Hopefully she will get the hang of it soon.

Communication: Da-da, ma-ma (though it doesn't happen nearly as often as da-da), na-na, ba-ba, always jabbering, screams

Nicknames: Baby girl, Brynnie, Brynners

Baby Girl: 11 Months

Goodness! Girlfriend is getting opinionated. She's still sweet as ever but likes to throw a little tantrum when she deems it necessary. She really loves throwing herself backwards onto hard surfaces, that is everyone's favorite.  She still loves her brother like no one's business and still takes great naps. She is just a bundle of joy.

We attended my family reunion. Brynn loved being outside and crawling around in the grass and dirt.

She's getting braver and climbing up on everything.

She chewed on her first stadium chair while watching the Bee's game.

She was introduced to the bouncer and loved it as long as someone was playing with her.

She's really great at feeding herself.

And she's quite insistent that she feeds herself. First snowcone at a stake activity.

She loves watermelon.

We moved into our house and she loved playing with all the long-lost toys.

Happy 11 Months, Baby Girl!

Weight: about 20 pounds

Height: about 27.5 inches

Clothing Size: 9-12 months, some 12-18 months

Diaper Size: Still in cloth diapers but pretty sure she'd be in a size 3.

Milestones: Moved to big girl car seat, 1 new tooth (right lateral incisor), stands/balances on own for about 10 seconds at a time, sleeping through the night(!!!)

Eating: Nurses when she wakes up and wants breakfast almost immediately afterwards, eats lunch and dinner with the family, loves to feed herself (most food makes it to the floor a few times before she actually gets it to her mouth), nurses right before bed.

Sleeping: Still naps twice a day for about 2 hours each time, sleeping through the night mostly (7:30pm-7am, sometimes wakes up between 3am & 5am to nurse then goes back down). Blackout curtains and her own room did the trick.

Communication: Lots of "dada", yells, gets really excited and yells even louder, talkative when tired, blows raspberries, sometimes says "bu bu" while waving.

*Tate's 11 month update

Baby Girl: 10 Months

This month Brynn has started crawling much better and with a lot more purpose. She has 3 teeth on top and is getting one more. She went in for her first dentist appointment today and the dentist was impressed with how happy and sweet she was despite his fingers being in her mouth and having a tooth that is almost coming in. Brynn recently started tantruming. The tantrums are nothing horrible but that's the best word I have for what she does. She has started to throw her head and body backward if she is upset while being held. If she's upset and on the floor, she puts her forehead on the floor and has one good sob then either decides she's over it and sits back up or isn't over it and continues to cry while scooting her forehead along the ground. At this point it's quite funny and cute but we'll see how I feel about her tantrums in a few months.

Brynn tried her first PB&J sandwich and loved it.

Happy 10 Months, Baby Girl!

Weight: About 19 pounds  

Height: About 27 inches
Clothing Size: 9-12 months, some 6-9 month still fit
Diaper Size: In cloth diapers but would be in size 3   
Milestones: Crawling everywhere, waving bye-bye, 3 new teeth (right central incisor--June 30, Left central incisor--July10, left lateral incisor--July 11), starting to balance while standing for a few seconds.
Eating: Nursing around 6am, eats breakfast about an hour later. Mostly just wants real food and doesn't nurse well during the day but still nurses right before bed.
Sleeping: She usually naps 2 times a day (sometimes 3 if she wakes up really early in the morning). These naps are generally 2 hours, unless interrupted by a screaming brother, she will sometimes sleep even longer than that. Her night-time sleeping has been horrible. She sleeps in about 2-3 hour spurts at night then wakes up crying and cannot get herself back to sleep. Nothing soothes her except nursing. I've tried to get her to take a binki but she won't take it, it just turns into a chew toy. This 2-3 hour spurt goes on throughout the night. She is usually sleeping by 7:30pm and wakes up for real between 6:30 and 7:30.
Communication: Lots of dada, yelling, gets really talkative when she's tired, blowing raspberries, lots of jabbering, says "bu-bu" while waving goodbye

*Tate 10 month update

Baby Girl: 9 Months

Holy cow. Brynn is a mover now. She wants to be crawling and climbing all over everything. She's still very happy and rarely cries unless provoked. She's a great eater and wants to try all our food. She's starting to feed herself finger foods but it's still quite difficult for her.

Milestones: Real crawling when it's not easy or is uncomfortable to drag herself across the ground. Pulling herself to standing on EVERYTHING. Going up stairs. Clapping.  
Eating: Brynn usually wakes up around 6 or 7am and nurses then will eat breakfast about an hour later. I want her to continue to want to nurse but she seems less and less interested. When she sees food she bounces around and grunts and reaches for it. Starting to feed herself. Eating everything.
