It's About Time I Made It Official

And by official, I mean announcing my pregnancy on my blog.  

Yep, I'm pregnant. 

How far along? 15 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: At the doctor, last week, I had gained 3 pounds since the beginning of the pregnancy.
Maternity clothes? Not yet, though my jeans are getting close to not buttoning...good thing I have some fat jeans.
Stretch marks? No
Sleep: Up until about week 12, I slept like a log...out cold by 9pm and dragging myself out of bed to get to work at 7am.  Over the last few weeks though it's been more difficult for me to get comfortable.  I think this has more to do with the crappy pillow I've been using than the baby though.  Luckily, for date night last week, we bought amazing pillows...back to sleeping like a log.
Best moment this week: Not keeping this baby thing a secret any more.
Have you told family and friends: As of this week, I think everyone knows.  If not, you're reading this blog and you know now.
Miss Anything? Not being out of breath by doing simple things.  Being able to clean my house for a few hours on a Saturday and not NEEDING a nap.
Movement: Not yet... Hopefully SOON!
Food cravings: French fries
Anything making you queasy or sick: Just depends on the day/moment. Really strong smells usually make me gag.
Have you started to show yet: If looking like I like to eat a dozen doughnuts every day counts as showing, then yes, yes I am showing.
Gender prediction: Baby
Labor Signs: No
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Depends on the time of day and what I'm doing.  I'm generally happy unless I'm hungry...then I get hangry (angry because I'm hungry) once I'm fed I'm fine.  I've also been weepy.  I cry at all sorts of things that never made me cry before. (There's a list of those things coming soon.)
Looking forward to: Finding out if our baby is a boy or girl!

My sisters gave me lots of baby clothes for my birthday.  It was mostly an excuse for them to buy the clothes and a way to tell my grandparents that I'm pregnant.

Festival of Colors

We went to the Festival of Colors today.  It was super fun.  That's all I have to say about it though.

My Birthday...8 Days Premature

We celebrated my 28th (how the heck did I get so old?) birthday with my family last night.  We had delicious hamburgers (that I totally burned to a crisp the first time around), homemade potato salad and banana cream pie.  We were supposed to have homemade ice cream in my brand new ice cream maker but we didn't freeze the inside portion soon enough.  Who's up for ice cream soup?

I'm not a big cake person so we obviously had a birthday pie.

That's only 28 candles...

Trying to figure out what to wish for. My family gave me lots of good choices to think about.

And the two wishes I finally went with are both sure to come true.  I blew out that inferno of birthday pie fire like a boss.

I'll let you know when my wishes come true...

Somebody's Drunk in the Kitchen

 No...no one was drunk in the kitchen.  I just prefer pie to cake.

Tiffany's Shower

I went to a bridal shower for my sister-in-law, Tiffany, today.

It was a typical shower...games, talking and food.

My favorite game was the make a dress out of toilet paper and napkins game.
