Baby #3: 37 Weeks

37 Weeks

Baby is the size of  a winter melon
(about 19-22 inches long)
Weighs about 6.5 pounds

How far along? 37 Weeks
Maternity clothes? Always.
Stretch marks? No
Sleep: I'm still sick but I've been sleeping like a rock this week. I only wake up when my bladder starts screaming (about every 2-3 hours) My record number of times having to go to the bathroom is 4.
Have you told family and friends: Yes.
Miss Anything? Sleeping through the night 
Movement: Baby was super active a few days at the beginning of this week but he has slowed down to more back and forth rolling type movements.
Food cravings: Nothing really. I don't feel hungry too often but I did have a nice steak this week and it was awesome.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope
Have you started to show yet: Obviously.
Gender prediction: We're having a boy.
Labor Signs: No.
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, I think. This question should probably be answered by my family though.
Do you have a name picked out: Nope
Looking forward to: Having a baby!
Things I'm worried about: Nothing. Which is weird. I should be worried about something. But I feel like everything is going to go great and we'll have a baby sometime this month!
Things I'm loving: Brynn pointing to my belly and saying "baby" and Tate kissing my belly and telling me how much he loves the baby.

Baby Girl: 37 Weeks

How far along are you? 37 weeks
Sleep: It's been okay this week. Not wonderful but better than it has been in the last few weeks.
Mood changes: Just tired
Cravings: All the sugar
Other symptoms: Same things: achy back, numb fingers on my right hand, swollen feet
Movement: Lots of kicks up around my ribs, some a really painful. She's getting really strong and makes my belly wiggle all over the place.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Not this week, wahoo!
Have you started to show yet:  Yep.
Do you have a name picked out: Still no name.
Maternity clothes:Always.
Labor Signs: I don't think so.
Belly Button in or out: in
Wedding rings on or off: Off, generally. I finally picked them back up from the jewelry store and they are so shiny and pretty. I also realized/remembered I can wear one at a time and they aren't too tight so I think I'm going to do that and see how it goes.
Looking forward to: Wearing both of my wedding rings again!
Things I'm worried about: Knowing if her head is down or not. I get an ultrasound tomorrow to find out though. Hopefully I'll even get a print out of her cute little face.
Things I'm loving: Knowing that I can have her any day now and she should be fine.

**at the 37 week doctor appointment we had an ultrasound which told us that baby's head is down, about 6.4 pounds and I'm at 2cm with a softening cervix. So, maybe there will be a baby this week...maybe not.

How far along? 37 Weeks
Maternity clothes? Yes
Stretch marks? Not yet...they're probably coming real soon though
Sleep: Much better this week but still not 1st trimester sleep...that, unfortunately, will probably never happen again.
Have you told family and friends: Yep
Miss Anything? Fitting through small spaces (pretty sure I've hit every student with my belly this year)
Movement: Just like last week...pushing but not a lot of kicking 
Food cravings:  Nothing really, water and cold fruit are pretty delicious though
Anything making you queasy or sick: nope
Have you started to show yet: Yes.
Gender prediction: It's a boy!
Labor Signs: I don't think so
Belly Button in or out? still in
Wedding rings on or off? generally off just because it's more comfortable but I will occasionally wear them
Happy or Moody most of the time:  I don't know that I would describe myself as either of those at the moment.  I'm tired and ready to be done being pregnant but I'm not quite ready to have a baby yet.  Very mixed emotions at this time.
Looking forward to: not being pregnant

Things I'm worried about: The baby will come earlier than his due date and I won't have a sub for my class...the sub I have can't start until September 12.

Things I'm loving: Meeting pregnant ladies that are not nearly as far along as I am but look just as big as I do...that sounds so horrible but it makes me feel better about myself after all the "Your baby is going to be HUGE!" and "I can't imagine you getting any bigger than you already are." type comments I get on a daily basis.


Also, Baby H. is head down (phew!) and the ultrasound made it look like he's already really chubby.  They didn't give me any prints this time (bummer!) so I can't show you but he's not nearly as scary looking as he was a 20 weeks.
