Talk Like a Pirate Day

I was just going through old blog posts and saw this one...Unintentional Pirate Day.

It reminded me that I had looked up Talk Like a Pirate Day after that day and was disappointed I had missed it. I couldn't remember the exact date but knew it was sometime in the middle of September. Guess what. It's Baby H.'s first due date.

Dear Baby H.,
If you come on September 19th, I'm going to make all the nurses talk like a pirate and then you're going home in an eye patch. And then, every year on your birthday, we're having a pirate party...no matter what.
