Tate has had a nagging cough for a while now but I never took him in because it didn't seem to bother him. Yesterday he woke up with a horrible cough, runny nose and scratchy throat. I took him to the doctor today.

These breathing treatments are not fun. I was only able to hold him like this after the nurse brought him a sucker. We should have thought of that before.

Husband took Tate in the bedroom to put him down for a nap. After he didn't come out for a while I began to wonder what was going on. I peeked into the bedroom to find this.

Oh, man. This kid is getting into everything! Tonight, I was making dinner and Tate was being good and entertaining himself. It was bliss. Then he started making long "mmmm" sounds. I find him with an open jar of fake Nutella. When did he learn to open jars? Ugh.

Tate has learned to open the fridge at our house. Let me tell you how fun that is. Oh, wait. It's not!

While at my mom's today he tried to open her fridge.

Her's is way more difficult to open. So trying to open the fridge ended in a slight tantrum. It's difficult being almost 17 months old.
