Tate would not go anywhere without this one glove or my makeup brush today.
Also, he continued his love of going down slides today. And we managed to get out of the house without the glove or makeup brush.

We spent the day at my grandparent's house for Memorial Day. My grandma gave Tate a carrot to chew on. He thought it was pretty cool and walked around the yard like this for quite a while.

When you refuse to nap all day (because we're out of milk and you can't have a bottle) you crawl into your mom's lap at 4:32 and are fast asleep by 4:33.

Baby Girl: 20 Weeks
20Weeks
Baby is the size of a banana (about 7 inches long)
Weighs about 11 ounces
Sleep: I seriously cannot sleep with this pregnancy. I may get 5 hours if I'm lucky.
Mood changes: Still weepy. Tired. Not really sad about things anymore (thank goodness!).
Cravings: French fries, always french fries. Melons. Though I've not really had any and suck at picking them out. Cherry Coke and Dirty Cokes but I try to resist most days. Carmel popcorn, I even had a dream about it one night.
Other symptoms: Crazy dry skin. My face and hands are the worst but my legs are getting there too.
Movement: Mostly just little bump type kicks. Mostly on the left.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Weird, gross smells.
Have you started to show yet: Yep, I feel like I've been showing since about week 6.
Do you have a name picked out: We started really thinking about a name for Baby Girl this week. Girl names are difficult. I really don't want anything that's popular-ish but nothing crazy (That means nothing like Sophia/Sophie or Blueberry Truck Captain). We've made a list but so far I can't say any are really in the lead.
Maternity clothes: Still needing a belly band but not really able to wear maternity clothes yet.
Labor Signs: Nope
Belly Button in or out: in
Wedding rings on or off: on
Looking forward to: Feeling the baby move more often.
Things I'm worried about: Getting Tate to understand how life will work when a baby comes.
Things I'm loving: Not being sick.

Tate hasn't been sleeping well during naps. I've decided I'd rather lay in the bed with him and have him well rested than have him sleep in his crib and get some cleaning done.

Yep, there's a baby in my belly. It's not just lots of french fries and soda (though that has certainly played a part in why I'm looking way more pregnant than I am).
How far along are you? 19 Weeks (on Mother's Day)
Morning sickness? Yes. Lots and lots of it! No throwing up (that is morning sickness related...more on that later) but so sick from about week 4 to week 11. It's still touch and go some days though.
Are you finding out the sex?! YES! I have no patience to wait another 20 weeks! I didn't have any "I know it's a _______." moments early like like I did with Tate but I've felt like it's a girl for a while now. We found out today that she is a GIRL!
Mood changes? I feel like I’m definitely more weepy, I'm crying during commercials on a daily/hourly basis. I've also had a few days that I'm just super sad about everything.
Cravings? Hamburgers and french fries. Anything and everything that is super unhealthy...I want it everyday for every meal.
Other symptoms? Lots of migraines (throwing up, can't function and no amount of medicine touches them type migraines), can't sleep but super tired, back pain early (like from week 5-8) and sciatica (I don't recommend ever having this...because it was obviously a choice...worst two weeks of my life!) I also had shingles. Seriously, am I 80 or David Letterman? What is going on here? Not nearly as bad as the sciatica though.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Strong smells...pretty much any strong smell. Pickles on someone's breath is pretty vomit inducing. For a while eating vegetables (especially raw ones) made me gaggy.
Excited for!? Not being pregnant. This pregnancy has been a rough one (and yes, I know lots of people have it way worse than I do but I'm a whiner and being pregnant with Tate was a breeze so I'm having difficulty adjusting).
Nursery? We'll probably just move Tate out of his room so I guess I need to work on a big kid room for Tate.
Do you have a name picked out? Not really. We tend to put things like that off until we know what we're having so let the name suggestions begin!
Any Pregnancy MUST HAVES? I'm thinking I need a pregnancy body pillow. Maybe that would help me sleep. Any suggestions?
Maternity clothes? I'm at a weird stage where none of my normal clothes really fit and maternity clothes are too big so I'm making it work while looking like a slob and loving my belly band.
Movement: I could swear I have felt little flutterings from about 16 weeks but I'm not sure if it was really Baby Girl. On Tuesday I felt what I knew where a few kicks from the baby. She's not nearly as wiggly as Tate was so I don't feel stuff to often yet.

I've decided feeding Tate while he's in the bathtub is one of my more genius parent moves. He can't go anywhere and he's distracted enough that he will eat everything. Plus, cleanup is a breeze.
