Baby Girl: 4 Months

Brynn's personality is really starting to come out. She is a very happy little girl and rarely cries. When she does cry she has a good reason (needs a diaper change or feeding, Tate is loving on her a little too much, she's tired...). Because of this awesome personality trait, I'm quite okay with her refusing a binki. She eats and sleeps like a champion. She takes 3-4 two-hour naps a day and sleeps from 9pm to 6am pretty regularly. Please don't think we are just lucky. Though she's a great baby we did have to work really hard to get her to sleep so well. She loves watching Tate from a distance.
 
This month we spent some time in Montana visiting Courtney. Brynn loved having another baby to talk to and laugh with.

She started getting super chubby. Look at those rolls!

She started holding her head up much better during tummy time and she has rolled a few times.

She is loving chewing on her fingers and often does it while sleeping (if she isn't swaddled well enough).

Happy 4 Months, Baby Girl!

Diaper Size: In cloth diapers but would be in size 2 
Milestones: Laughing
Eating: Eats every 3 to 4 hours during the day.    
Sleeping: Naps 3 times a day for about 2 hours each and sleeps through the night from about 9pm-6am with an occasional feeding around 3 a.m.
Communication: cries when hungry or needs a diaper change, talks a lot when other people are close to her. 
Nicknames: Baby Girl, Brynners, Sister, Baby B, Baby Brynn  
Most Memorable Moment(s): Laughed for the first time while on vacation in Montana. Reaching for toys. Giggling when tickled.

Baby Girl: 3 Months

This month, Brynn finally learned how to suck on a binki. Turns out she was just starving (I was at a Relief Society activity and she was home with Dad) but it was a start.

 

She looked super cute in overalls but hated wearing them.

 She got her first cold and spent many days like this

She met Santa many times

Ward Christmas party right after a huge blowout...she showed up in a much cuter outfit.

Happy 3 Months, Baby Girl!

Weight: Guessing 12-ish pounds
Height: Guessing 23 inches 
Clothing Size: 0-3 month and some 3-6 month  
Diaper Size: In cloth diapers but would be in size 2 
Milestones: Holding head up the majority of the time, almost laughing

Eating: Eats every 3 to 3.5 hours during the day and about every 4-5 hours at night.    
Sleeping: Naps the day, sleeps 4-5 hour stretches at night. 
Communication: cries when hungry or needs a diaper change, cooing and smiling when looking at people and toys

Most Memorable Moment(s): Finally started sucking on a binki...occasionally. Rolling to sides when on back, sucks on hands, grabbing everything. Started taking a bottle.

At 4:42 pm on Christmas Day, Tate lost his battle with his arch nemesis, Nap.

This year we went to Fotofly to get Santa pictures. Pictures are kinda difficult with a baby.

Year of Tate: Day 347

We visited the Stringtown Polar Express today and it pretty much made Tate's life.

We even got to visit Santa's workshop and Tate told Santa that he wanted a "choo-choo."

Year of Tate: Day 345

We decorated the tree today and by "we" I mean Tate. We only got about 15 ornaments on the tree before I decided 2 year olds decorating is a bad idea but I let Tate do it. He only decorated the bottom three rows and he only did about a 3 foot wide section of those rows.

He's pouting because he didn't want his picture taken.

After he had decorated, he took some of the ornaments off to play with. During this time his dragons are kissing Winnie the Pooh goodnight.

Year of Tate: Day 340

We visited Great Grandma today. Tate loves her and loves being at her house.

Baby Girl: 2 Months

Brynn celebrated her first Halloween.

Halloween was really exciting for her

Husband blessed Brynn on November 2. It was a great day and we had lots of family and friends over to enjoy our day with us.

Brynn started playing with the play mat this month and loves it.

Diaper Size: size1 and started wearing cloth diapers about a week to her 2 month birthday

Most Memorable Moment(s): During tummy time, Brynn rolled from her stomach to her back on November 11. She hasn't done it again but we thought it was pretty great. She started smiling for real on November 20.

Also, that hat is a baby size and fits him like a yarmulke but he insists on wearing it everywhere. A new beanie is definitely on his Christmas list.
